Private Singing Lessons: Students will learn how to use proper breath support, improve vocal range, enhance voice quality, develop clear diction, project their voice, and interpret songs, all while working on staying in tune and maintaining good posture. Students will learn how to sing with good technique and expression. WEDNESDAYS. Spots available between 3:00PM-6:00PM, FREE! Must sign up for after-school programming at the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens. For ages 9 – 17. All are welcome.

Decoupage with Peppy!: Discover the art of decoupage and learn how to take an ordinary object, such as a ceramic container or cigar box, and turn it into an extraordinary work of art. Learn creative ways of designing objects with paper by painting, cutting, texturing, and adhering papers to your object. Newly created decoupage art makes an excellent art piece for the home or as a gift to someone special. Transform everyday objects into art in this beginner workshop. Once a month on THURSDAYS 2:00PM-3:30PM, FREE!  All are welcome to participate.

Join our low-impact dance fitness/movement class designed for active older adults, beginners, and people with physical limitations. Dance like no one's watching to yesterday's and today's hits!  Easy-to-learn choreography-based workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, balance, range of motion, and coordination without stressing joints.

Joining a senior choir offers numerous social and emotional benefits, providing a fulfilling and enjoyable activity for older adults. Our sing along program creates opportunities to form new friendships and experience the joy of making music together. It uses Latin and world rhythms in an easy-to-learn, choreography-based workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, balance, range of motion, and coordination without stressing joints.
FRIDAYS 1 PM-2 PM, FREE!  All are welcome to participate.
